American’s Peoria Mobile Installation Department is looking for someone like you to be a Mobile Electronics Installer. We have a state of the art installation facility, CAD software for subwoofer enclosure design and on-going manufacturer training.

Responsible for the installation of stereos, car alarms, remote engine starts, and other mobile electronics in customer owned vehicles. Other duties include maintenance of shop, paperwork responsibilities, building of workstations and tool maintenance.

Qualified candidates should have experience in 12 volt installation, car stereo install experience, experience in building custom subwoofer enclosures, installing alarms and remote starts is a plus; will consider individual with a background in electronics or other related experience. MECP certification is preferred but not required. The successful candidate will be a team player with a strong attention to detail. Supply of own basic hand tools is required.
