As a Sales Manager-in-training, you will be building a dynamic sales team by providing leadership, as well as, recruiting, selecting and developing sales professionals. American’s Manager-in-training and Sales Certification Programs will support and enhance your previous management experience and training.

American’s Leadership Education & Advancement Program (LEAP) will provide you with the skills and knowledge you will need to be successful in your career. This program is focused on making your progression to a management position rewarding.

As a Sales Manager, you will coach your team on the skills needed to achieve their goals. Your ability to motivate, inspire and engage your staff will also lead to your own success. Turn your drive into accomplishments. You will provide your team with a clear sense of direction as you drive sale to new levels. You will develop your team’s skills in customer service to give customers a delightful experience when they shop at American.

Qualified applicants will have a bachelor’s degree or 3-5 years of retail management experience, 2 years + sales experience, and would be available to work every weekend and some evenings – averaging 45-50 hours a week. Supplemental income of $37,000 or commission, which ever is greater.
